The journey of Çimko Cement and Concrete, a subsidiary of Sanko Holding, began in 1995 with the privatization of the Adıyaman Factory and continued with continuous investments in line with the goal of becoming one of Turkey's leading producers.
Çimko is today a pioneer in the sector with 3 integrated cement plants in Kahramanmaraş/Narlı, Adıyaman and Bartın, 1 grinding plant, 2 packaging plants and more than 40 ready-mixed concrete plants in 13 provinces. With more than 2000 employees and an annual capacity of approximately 9.4 million tons of cement and 5.4 million tons of clinker, it continues its operations without compromising on operational excellence and quality to add value to Turkey.
Çimko, which produces world-class quality products as a result of investments in R&D and innovation with an understanding of continuous progress, considers meeting customer expectations and needs as one of its priorities.
Recognizing the great importance of transition to low-carbon cement production in reducing carbon emissions, Çimko contributes to the efficient use of natural resources and cost reduction by producing durable products with low environmental impact.
In line with its corporate sustainability goals, Çimko realizes the SPP Project with a capacity of 49 MW in the Aegean and Central Anatolia Regions, while it is also investing in renewable energy with waste heat recovery facilities with a total installed capacity of 13 MW at the Narlı and Bartın Plants.
